Today our class learned about Compost Worms. There are two types- Tigers and Red Wrigglers.
Compost worms are cousins to Earthworms.
Worms breathe through their skin. Worms don't have eyes or a tongue.
I was surprised that they will compost anything that was once alive. The worms don't eat the food scraps, the bacteria do and the worms eat the bacteria.
