The new ZART Art Catalogue has been forwarded state wide to all schools for 2011.
It is an honour for two of our students, Karla Ballhause and Joshua Ost, to have their artwork featured significantly in this glossy catalogue. These two pieces of art work were on display (along with others from our senior primary students) in Zart Art's Melbourne student Gallery earlier this year and were then selected by Zart's graphic designers for inclusion in the catalogue.
Principal's Note:It was pleasing to receive a message from Jan Roker, Education and Resource Manager – Zart Art: I have included part of it for your information.
"Dear Pam
Thank you for the contribution your students have made to our 2011 catalogue which features work from your school.
We really do value the effort you have gone to over the year to submit work to the gallery and the catalogue.. Keep up the terrific work you do with your students and thanks again for sharing it with us"…..

Laing O'Rourke representative Susan Crawford contacted the school recently to advise that Ryan Garthwaite's and Coen Hiscox's artwork has been chosen as Regional Finalists in the EPIC Art Competition. Nivek Wood's work was awarded a Participation Certificate.
Wendy Protheroe General Manager Kids Helpline contacted the school to advise Mackenzie Roll's entry had been chosen as the winner of the best poster in the 8-10 years age category from 1970 entries.
Mackenzie wins a Nintendo DSi console bundle including two games for her efforts.
Mackenzies poster will be mounted in a frame and displayed at Kids Helpline.
