Application for Redevelopment

NAB First Plan (pdf, 632 KB)

Over a number of years, the Murray Catchment Management Authority (CMA) and Corowa & District Landcare have had a regular working partnership with the school. Students have been involved with local tree planting activities within the school and wider community. From this ongoing partnership, students have developed a love of the environment and are concerned about local environmental issues. Our local CMA coordinator regularly assists with providing trees, shrubs and grasses for planting. The knowledge, resources and advice that they have been able to contribute to the school has been a valuable resource to the students and staff. The Murray CMA have been able to assist us with this application by attending meetings, advising which species of plants to use, where to purchase them and drawing up a site plan for the project. They willl assist with ongoing future advice and support with the implementation of the project.

The above information is a summary of an application proposal that has been made for financial assistance to redevelop the local area, adjacent and bordering Corowa South Public School.

Our school will be advised if this application is successful of gaining funding for the attached works in December 2012.
